Welcome to Barnyard Buddies!
We are excited for the opportunity to offer a rural farming and equestrian experience to the Lakewood community as well as the surrounding neighborhoods. At Barnyard Buddies we offer a hands on learning experience with a variety of farm animals and ponies. Some of our animals include sheep, goats, pigs, chickens, rabbits, alpaca, ponies and more! Make an immediate left when you enter the front gate and follow the signs to the pony rides. Parking available in front of our red office.

Petting Zoo
Our petting zoo includes a variety of farm animals. While visiting you will have a chance to feed and brush the goats and sheep. You can also pay a visit to the alpaca, pigs, rabbits and chickens!
Entry into the petting zoo is $6 per person with weekly specials and discounts available!
Pony Rides
Pony rides are available daily from 10am to 5pm. Rides are $8 for five laps around the pony track. To ensure the safety of both rider and pony it is recommended riders be at least three years old. All riders are subject to a 75lb weight limit.
Please note ride availability may vary due to extreme weather and the number of working ponies.
Riding Lessons
Riding lessons are available for ages 3-7. Each lesson will be a 45 minute one on one class with one of our instructors. Students will learn beginning riding and safety techniques as well how to lead, brush and saddle their horse.
For the safety of the horses and riders, there is a 100lb weight limit for all students.
Lessons are $55, and include entrance into the petting zoo for the student and one parent.

Kids Trail Ride
Our kids trail ride will take children on a hand led trail ride along side the San Gabriel River Trail. Riders will get a tour of the back side of the Equestrian Center and Rynerson Park. Trail rides are approximately 20-25 minutes long. For the safety of the horses and riders, riders must be at least three years old and under 100lbs.
Trail rides are $35 and include admission into the petting zoo for rider and parent.
